The artist isn’t wasting any time when it comes to paying it forward.  She has partnered with Project 615 to create a special “Getaway Car” T shirt, and 100% of the proceeds from sales will go to Safe Haven Family Shelter, a shelter-to-housing program accommodating families experiencing homelessness in Middle Tennessee for more than 32 years.

“My mom and I worked with the homeless community back in my hometown (Odessa, TX) and when I moved to Nashville a few years ago, I volunteered at Safe Haven and have been working with them ever since,” Micaela said. “The work they do and how they help families is so important and I am happy that I can help in this small way.  I am so grateful to my mom because if it weren’t for her teaching, I might never have found this passion.”
