22569445428_b822d53a9b_kTeam up with us for the 12th Annual Hike for the Homeless on November 5! Safe Haven Family Shelter is gearing up for the Hike for the Homeless, a Nashville favorite for its heavy dose of outdoor time, friends, family, food and fun. Our goal? $115,000! You can help by starting a team, joining a team, making a donation and spreading the word!

The event, which takes place November 5 at Edwin Warner Park, includes hiking on two paved trails, food, live music and children’s activities. It is a pet and stroller friendly event. Registration begins at 9 a.m., with hikers hitting the trail at 10 am. Participants are encouraged to create teams with a fundraising goal. Each person at the hike who donates $25 or more will receive one Hike for the Homeless t-shirt. We also have dog bandanas (until they run out) for our four-legged hikers. Start your team now at www.hike4homeless.com Visit our website for more information or email Stacy with any questions.

VOLUNTEER AT THE HIKE:

It takes 100+ volunteers to make Hike for the Homeless a success! We need you! Please visit our website or click here to sign up to volunteer. We have opportunities before the Hike and many on the day of the event. We can accommodate groups of volunteers, and we encourage all volunteers to form a team  and fundraise for the event. (Many roles allow volunteers to also hike with event attendees.) Sign up to volunteer now, and help us spread the word. If you have any questions about volunteering or need more info email Chris.
