Programs offered every other month
We ask Safe Haven volunteers to complete a training and orientation program so they are prepared and well-equipped to serve Nashville’s homeless families.
In the volunteer training, we discuss areas such as:
- Mission and core values of Safe Haven
- Volunteer position description (role, expectations, resources, etc.)
- Trauma-Informed Care and working with families in trauma
- Risk Management
- Team Building
