Warm Hearts & Spirits at the 14th Annual Hike for the Homeless

On a cold November day, our hearts and spirits were warmed by the generosity and support of everyone involved with the 14th Annual Hike for the Homeless. Thank you to everyone who hiked, donated, sponsored and volunteered at the Hike. Together we raised just over $147,000.

SPONSORS:

Thank you to our presenting sponsors Curb Records and Burr Forman! Special thanks to White Bison, our coffee and water sponsor who kept everyone warm with hot chocolate and coffee! We are grateful to all of our Hike sponsors listed below:

PRIZE WINNERS:

Congratulations to our prize winners! The coveted Golden Boots were awarded as follows:
The HCA team led by Kearstin Patterson raised $7,000 and took home the Team Fund Raising Award.

Richard Courtney earned the Individual Fund Raising Award by raising $8,433.

The Biggest Team Award (most number of team members raising an average of $25 or more) went to the Bank of America Team led by Stephanie Bonner.

Our Team Spirit Award went to the team of 4th Graders from Lipscomb who raised over $4,000 on their own.

We want to send out a special recognition to the STAFF360 Team led by Brad Kimbler. This team was made up of staff and supporters of STAFF360, the social enterprise staffing entity of Safe Haven Family Shelter. The team raised $12,300 with the help of a $10,000 donation from Tom and Ann Kimbler through the Gray-Kimbler Foundation.

VOLUNTEERS:

We want to say a BIG THANK YOU to the over 100 volunteers who gave their time on Friday and Saturday. We couldn’t do this event without the power of our volunteers!
